Radiculopathy is a condition that affects the nerve roots of your spine, causing pain and weakness in your legs. The most common cause of radiculopathy is the narrowing of the space where nerve roots exit the spine. You may experience sharp pain with sudden movements, numbness, weakness, or changes in sensation when you have radiculopathy.
